Each piece is hand-thrown, hand-painted, slightly odd and one-of-a-kind. Inspired by witchcraft, magic and a dash of the weird. It is no coincidence that you stumbled upon these pots. ‘Wyrd’ means fate, after all.

good isn't always nice

My name is Eva Machajdíková. I am a graphic designer who have been (witch)crafting her whole life. In recent years, pottery has become a source of pleasure for me—my biggest hobby, which I am always trying to get better at. I do it way too much, so I decided to sell some of my pieces. They are handmade, thrown on the wheel in a small pottery studio in the center of Prague. I hand-paint them, using my illustrations, which frequently narrate some kind of a magical story.

I also collaborate with illustrator Barbora Idesová, who adorns some of my work with her wonderful art, imaginary beings, dreamy scenes, and perfect lines.
